Please find a list of courses in Victoria which require Maths Methods to be eligible apply, this is where Maths Methods is a standalone requirement.
Some courses for example Science at Monash University accept Maths Methods but it is not a requirement it is one of a list of subjects accepted.
In some courses such as Physiotherapy students may need two Science or Health subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Health and Human Development, Psychology, and Physical Education if they don’t do Mathematical Methods.

Outside of Victoria, the University of Queensland and James Cook University have several courses in Engineering, Science, Health and Commerce (University of Queensland) which require Maths Methods.
In NSW, they have a process called assumed knowledge or recommended studies which means subjects are recommended and suggested but not required.

In Australia, there are ten direct entry Medicine courses. Two of those ten courses require students to complete Year 12 Maths Methods as a standalone subject. Those courses are at the University of Queensland and James Cook University.
